One of the largest islands in the Maldives, the lush island of Dhidhoofinolhu is 1.8 kilometres long and 500 metres wide with 4 kilometres of white sandy beach. At its heart Naiade Resorts, of Mauritius fame, have added the fabulous Diva Maldives Resort & Spa.

Located in the Ari Atoll, some 25 minutes by seaplane from Male, Diva was fully operational in September 2008 and is already receiving excellent reviews.

Accommodation comprises Junior Suites (with 36 inter-connecting), Beach Villas (some with pools) and Water Villas some of which have two bedrooms. Families are well catered for with both a Kids and a Teens Club (open 13 hours a day), while adults are not forgotten with a wide choice of restaurants and bars and of course a Spa with 15 double treatment rooms, four of which are suspended over the water.

An extensive choice of water sports is available including a PADI Dive Centre. The waters around Diva has excellent diving are also renowned as the best place in the Maldives for whale sharks - a plankton eater and harmless to humans.

ROOMS

193 air-conditioned villas and suites all with bath, separate shower and outdoor shower, LCD TV with built in DVD, mini bar, safe, hairdryer, tea/coffee facilities and furnished terrace with lagoon access. Junior suites have a private garden and are situated on the narrow part of the island. Beach Villas have the same facilities but with a larger garden and direct access to the beach.
