Completely renovated in 2009, the Maritim Hotel Mauritius occupies a superb, slightly elevated position overlooking Turtle Bay on the north west coast of Mauritius.

Set in a private 25 hectare tropical garden and nature park - known as Balaclava, the Maritim is just a 15 minute drive to Port Louis or Grand Baie. The hotel is a perfect blend of tropical and colonial architecture which provides an elegant background to a relaxing holiday. The accommodation wings are to either side of the central area and all rooms are sea facing with balcony or terrace. Public areas include a choice of three restaurants, large swimming pool, as well as a wealth of sports facilities including 9-hole golf course and tennis facilities. Lawned gardens lead down to the long shell-sand beach protected by a coral reef.

Turtle Bay is the first National Park in Mauritius and there is excellent snorkelling grounds right on the beach. Waterskiing, windsurfing, sailing, canoeing and pedal boats are all available free of charge.

ROOMS

215 air-conditioned rooms with; bath, balcony or terrace, seaview, mini bar, TV with DVD, telephone, safe, tea/coffee facilities and hairdryer. Privilege rooms have the same facilities but are more spacious. Prestige rooms have even more space with a sitting area and convertible sofa ideal for children. Suites also have a separate living room and larger bathroom.
