This luxurious resort hotel is situated at Baie aux Tortues on the northwest coast of the island. Its design is a blend of the cultural mix of Mauritius with the influences of Africa, Asia and Europe.

The Oberoi Mauritius consists of just 73 stylish, well appointed Luxury Pavilion rooms and Villas, each conveying a sense of exclusivity. The Luxury Pavilion rooms have a spacious bedroom with kingsize bed or "Hollywood" twin beds, a bathroom with sunken bath and separate shower, and a private spacious dining terrace.

Each of the Luxury Villas is secluded within a walled courtyard with lush garden and an open-air dining pavilion for use as a retreat or al fresco dining. Most villas also have a private pool (8 x 4.5 m).

"The Restaurant" is open-sided with a thatched roof and serves French, Indian and Creole cuisine. The Lagoon Main Restaurant is open for light lunch and fusion cuisine. The ambiance at "The Pool Bar", with its incredible sunsets, is highlighted with piano and light music.

In the opulent Oberoi Spa by Banyan Tree, you can treat yourself to a wide-ranging choice of 100% natural treatments - from the herbal wrap to the papaya scrub and Ylang Ylang body massage.
