Situated on the north east coast, the luxury all suite Constance Le Prince Maurice is the only hotel in Mauritius to be a member of Relais & Chateaux. A relatively small hotel, it is set in 60 hectares of private land with tropical gardens and sheltered beaches. A natural fish reserve adds to the beauty of the location.

The hotel’s accommodation is in individual or two storey thatched buildings comprising Junior suites and Senior suites villas. All are very spacious and elegant with polished teak floors and rich red-wood furniture as well as being exceedingly well equipped. Their location is either along the beach, in the garden facing the sea or built on stilts overlooking the fish reserve.

The open plan style of the hotel’s main area includes a superb swimming pool as its centrepiece overlooked by the main restaurant serving a la carte meals. For a truly romantic setting, meander along a teak boardwalk through mangroves to the unique “barachois” a delightful floating restaurant on the fish reserve.

Other facilities include a Guerlain Spa, tennis courts, free bicycle hire, as well as an extensive range of water sports. Guests also benefit from free green fees at the two 18-hole championship golf courses located at Belle Mare Plage with free shuttle bus to and from the hotel.

ROOMS

89 air-conditioned suites. Junior suites have bath, shower, sitting area, balcony or terrace, mini bar, TV, DVD player and CD player, telephone/answering machine, outgoing fax and hairdryer. Senior suite villas have the same facilities but are much larger with a separate lounge. Some have a small private pool.
