The luxury Taj Exotica Resort & Spa is situated on the island of Emboodhu Finolhu in the South Male Atoll on a strip of land some 770 metres long and 50 metres wide at its widest point. The Taj Group have been careful to preserve the natural beauty of the island and lagoon.

Each of the palm-thatched villas have been built and styled to blend in with the surroundings by using natural wood finishes on the exteriors and floors. The choice of restaurant offers a varied and eclectic dining experience, with a team of international chefs creating mouth watering menus. The 'Jiva Grande Spa' is situated over the lagoon and offers private single and double treatment rooms, Hammam, Relaxation Lounge, Indian Mud and Bathing Pavilion, and Yoga and Fitness Pavilions.
